After the completion of the Autobahn (motorway) A14 between Halle and Magdeburg, Bernburg is now directly accessible coming from the western direction driving the B185.

The B185 also leads from the eastern direction coming from the A9 crossing Dessau and Köthen to Bernburg.

The indigo innovationspark bernburg gmbh was accomodated in the renovated right flank of the recent spa hotel of Bernburg. A modern new building was added where the Anhalt University (FH) has established itself.

The buildungs are in the immediate neighbourhood of the recreation area close to Bernburg, which is a part of the natuaral park "Unteres Saaletal"  and are just a few 100 metres away from the town center of Bernburg.
