STZ Wirtschaftsinformatik
The Steinbeis-Stiftung is a service enterprise which operates all
around the world in the area
of
transferring technology and knowledge. The
Steinbeis-Verbund on the one hand
currently
comprises of 500
transfer enterprises which are working as
Steinbeis-Transferzentren and on
the
other hand also comprises of subsidiary companies, equity stakes and
co-operation partners
in more than 40 countries.
The Steinbeis-Transferzentrum
Wirtschaftsinformatik Bernburg was founded in 1992. The following
services for
small and medium businesses (KMU’s = German abbreviation) are carried
out in
Saxony-Anhalt and within Germany:
- Workshops and events
concerning further education about the application of computerised
operational
systems for information and control
- Guidance concerning the
implementation of standardised software solutions for E-commerce
applications
- Development of business
databases and realisation of database investigations
- Operations Research for small
and medium size enterprises with the focal points of:
- optimisation processes for
decision making
- methods of implementation
planning and for simulating production flows
- statistical processes for
both quality assurance and for reworking and evaluating mass data.
- Creation of multimedia
products for training of own employees and for supporting marketing
activities
and their implementation into internet solutions.
The main activities of the
work of STZ Wirtschaftsinformatik Bernburg in the recent years were the
application of simulation procedures in the area of animal breeding,
the
creation of CD-ROMs for the areas
of environmental and nature protection, the
formation of distance-learning-systems in the areas
of nutrition advice and
dietetic treatment and the statistical reworking of mass data in the
estate
business.
