    The GEWI Hard- und Softwareentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH is an enterprise which is situated in

    In the field of traffic telematics GEWI offers a complete package of integrative software modules, which     enable the users to quickly build up an own networked traffic information centre in the industrial                 standard format.

    The users are able to do both collecting, logging and editing real-time traffic information and to
    transfer them to end users by means of numerous possible e-commerce-channels like internet,
    mobile phones, WAP, digital television, RDS-TMC, PDAs and much more. This is possible either via
    call or by using personalised alerts.

    The GEWI Engineering GmbH which is very successful to works in the area of television electronics.
    This enterprise develops frame-hardware for the television industry as well as software for interactive
    TV user interfaces.

    Digital television sets (DVB) and related software are components of a substantial growth market,
    including the provision of local traffic information for viewers.
